How Many Showed Up For ONE Job Listing?!!?

I am so VERY FORTUNATE (never thought I would say that) to Teach Yoga at Bally Total Fitness in Mesa, AZ.... I arrived at the club at 6:10 pm, and as I walked in the door I was somewhat shocked to see about 20 well dressed people waiting around the perimeter of the front desk. I asked the guy behind the desk as I signed in, "what is going on?" He slid a help wanted ad in front of me. The posting was for one (1), let me repeat, ONE salesperson. One salesperson! It appears three managers were interviewing people all that day!!! I looked into the faces of a couple of the patiently waiting people and saw the last reserves of hope or was that an optimistic despair? I usually look at anyone who has a job nowadays with envy and respect all the way from the three piece suit businessman down to the multiple tattooed, peirced girl at the convenience store. I could feel that look of envy as I walked to my Yoga room. Wow, that is what that feels like... Later, after class was over around 8:00pm, people were still being interviewed!!! I walked to my car in shock and wonder pondering, "do we need 'Change' or do we need Trillions?"
